We are an artist cooperative gallery. Each artist at Odgepodge volunteers there time. We are here because we love art and see the need for more art venues in our Sherwood community. (Click on picture for article link) Long time Sherwood resident Odge Gribble is the heart of Old Town Sherwood..... The biggest one you'll find in our fast growing town. Her popularity is unfailing, and her reputation for being one of the towns most outspoken supporters of saving the old school house has made her a hero to all those seeking to preserve the history of Old Town Sherwood. She is the oldest person to have attended the now demolished school and she wasn't going to let it go down without a good fight. She had hoped the City leaders would support putting an arts center on the city-owned parcel. When that didn't happen Odge's vision came alive when she opened the doors to the Odgepodge Art Gallery in 2007. Thank you Odge for giving us artist a place to grow, and a place for our Sherwood community to enjoy the arts!

Artist Darla Boljat

(Click on picture for link to Darla's website) Darla began painting professionally in 2005. A year before making that career decision, she painted once a week with her close friend professional artist Teri Thomas. At one of her painting sessions, Darla finished a landscape painting that featured an old barn and realized this would be a perfect gift for her Grandma. When Darla informed her Grandpa she would be sending it as a gift, she was told that her Grandma was very ill and would be in Hospice soon. At his suggestion, she e-mailed a digital copy of the picture. It was printed out and this painting hung over her Grandma 'Mattie's hospital bed the two weeks before she passed away. Prior to the memorial service, Darla learned for the first time that her Grandma had always wanted to try painting but didn't know where to begin. Darla’s mother Loretta also had a passion for art and created a few paintings during her lifetime, but passed away in 1988. Returning home from Grandma’s memorial, Darla decided to focus her energy on becoming a professional artist and at the same time honor the artistic passions of her Grandma and Mother

Artist Teffany Ingram

(Click on link to Teffany's Art And Soul Blog) I'm a self taught whimsical folk artist who enjoys watching my characters come to life with every stroke of my brush. I believe animals have souls and my art has a way of capturing their spirits. It's fun to connect with another living creature's personality and depict it on canvas. My sweet side comes out in my paintings of smiling kitties, little lost lambs and fuuny characters like a buck-toothed alpaca and a curious ostrich... The rest of me finds it's way out in characters like "Outlaw Pete", a bewildered rooster, a ticked off blue bird and a cranky owl. Painting people is not my strength, however angels will sometimes find there way onto my canvas when I'm not expecting it. Thank you for visiting my "Art And Soul."
